As an adoptee I feel so much when I listen to the lyrics of this song. My birth mother was in an abusive relationship and nearly lost me when my birth father tried to beat me out of her. I'm not sure why but this song has emotionally helped me feel something for the pain I feel like she went through when I was finally taken away from her. The lyrics "Don't be so amazing or i'll miss you too much" always floats in and out of my mind from time to time. |

My heart drops in my stomach when I hear the harmonica. I so desperately want to be shown around and away from the miles of nowhere I've been walking.
I feel like he is walking up to people all confused and lost and in the back of his head he knows where he is but he's too apathetic to truly try. Just when he wants to give up he gives into to the only option. He just wants to give in already and be led anywhere.
