This song rebukes the those who exploit the under privileged masses. It seems Tosh took it from an angle were some "big fish" in Jamaican society were trying to be be associated with him for their own ends. He however rejects the whole thing; oppression of the poor and the advances of the oppressors. "I ain't got no time to waste on you, no, no I am a livin' man, I've got work to do, right now". |

The One Love Peace Concert was a large concert held on April 22, 1978 at The National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica. The original song (Funeral) was recorded by both Tosh and Marley. The follow up was made by Tosh in 1977. How can this be a shot at Bob Marley for "his actions at the concert" which was held in the next year??? |

Well, this song was on the 1973 album (Legalize It). Bob Marley's burial was in 1981. How can the song be "directed to Bob Marley after his death and in reference to Bob's Marley Burial"? |
