The fellow who produced it, Ross Robinson, forced Jonathan to relive the event mentally. The reason so many people hire Robinson as a producer is BECAUSE he is able to trigger such emotional responses out of artists. It was not put on, nor was Robinson being a dick when he kept the recording. Jonathan expressed the emotion thanks to Robinson, and they kept it in the song because it is perfect. If anyone disapproved of it being included it would not be in and if it were (against their wishes) there would have been a lawsuit. |
