| I knew Loverboy when they were a garage band in Calgary in the 70's. Mike Reno's girlfriend was Laurel Sweet, a beautiful and intelligent young woman who had supported him through all his musical strivings for many years, financially as well as emotionally. I like to think this song was for her. Though she got dumped of course, when the groupies came around. | |
