This is a song about starting over after a breakup. He starts the song off by saying he is sorry, and complements her on how great she is...but things aren't working out, they fight over the same things all the time. He never realized how hard it would be to be in love with someone. And this fighting is bringing him pain, and just wants to start over. He is trying to use logic of why they are breaking up, and he can't figure it out. For all the reasons that she has to breakup, there is nothing that is more powerful than his heart, or his love for her. He loves her with his whole heart, he just wants her to love him too. That is why he suggest that they start over, and have a brand new start to love each other, because he thinks she is still amazing and doesn't want to let her go. |

| this is a beautiful song, about that first date you have after a bad breakup. You're afraid of going on this date, because you're so used of that other guy. This guy brought out a lot of insecurites in her. For Ex: Taylor is really tall, and with high heels she was even taller, making the guy look shorter. This date that Taylor goes on, it isn't bad like she assumed it would be. She had a great time. I understand the Christian aspect of the song, but to me I can relate to is on a relationship level. Just because things are ruined between the person that you choice over me, that you can just come easily back to me, after treating me like shit. I'll be home safe and in my bed, but you won't be able me to get me to be a bad person like you are.
