Whether you like the music or not, how awesome are trojan pop songs like this?? I love it when songs get played a lot on the radio and most people just nod along to them without ever properly listening to the lyrics. If they ever did stop to listen, they'd probably think twice about criticising metal as being 'too dark' for their simple tastes...!! See also that awful Foster The People song about Columbine-style shoot-ups. I love bursting peoples' bubbles about that. |

Yeah I did know that haha (and what a freaky film it is) but I like to think she was specifically referencing The Pixies. I agree with all the Pixies-related praise though. They are the best thing ever ever ever. |

I agree, it sounds like (/seems like it should be) 'bleed', well that's what I've presumed it was for years. Funny, I've just read a couple of those 50 shades of grey books to see what all the fuss was about. Besides the fact that they are really badly written (athough undeniably addictive), what strikes me is how horrendous the music references are. Also, as if 'Venus in Furs' isn't mentioned even once. |

| This song is about love of inanimate objects apparently. She's such a legend. Does anyone else reckon 'slice my starry eye' is a nod to the Pixies? (Debaser) | |
