to RaygunShaunon: "why I can't make a fucking dollar writing the same four-chord songs over and over again" just try to listen The Exploited - especially "04 - You're A Fucking Bastard" from "2003 - Fuck The System". They have even lesser then four chords... I don't even talk about lyric of this song ;-) So, if you are talented person it does not matter how complex your music of lyrics... I don't think that Eugeny Gudz best poet or composer (try to compare with Nick Cave for ex.) but he have some own talent what makes his music interesting to us. Regarding such bands like Green Day: 4 chords - why not? They are popular: still why not? someone should satisfy "almost entirely of ignorant eighth-grade girls" ;-) Btw here are many pop, hip-hop and so on bands... each choose music per his own preferences, |
