I like to think that this song is about being in a state of peace with yourself. You know, even with every problem you may have in relationships with other people, you live your life and harmony is within your mind, at least. Sometimes, you can get hurt because of other people, and this song always helps to put my good thoughts back into my mind. That's what the calm pace of the song brings to me. Oh, by the way, I love this one. |

I think that this song is about when Curt realized they all, mainly Cris, were fucked up on drugs ("Lost in my eyes","Lost in my room", "I'm endlessly caught in this weight"). What they were using had no effect anymore and they needed something stronger ("It's just the taste of the sun you're after"), although he knew that they needed help ("But you're calling out to the wind"). Yeah, that's what I think this awesome song is about. |
