Hey question from anyone who actually knows this whole sequence but how is one to avoid the stone because it seems that on occasions where I feel that a sheep is under attack and being either culled from the herd or everyone is being divided, Once these teams are formed and they start working on each other until its time for the first harvest. I end up feeling obligated to finally step in when it seems like the point of absolute no return, often because the sheep still pretend that nothing is closing in around them as they seem dig deeper. I try to use language to clearly explain what they are doing without trying to get involved in their games. I dont know if its because they dont realize it themselves or all my imagination but at that point it seems the intervention worked for the trapped but only because i stepped in it instead. At this point I feel trapped I can take part until I feel that things wont simply blow over unless something has to be done and where i choose to stand from the neutral zone in someones defense but they deny any such activity. Then literally in the same breath of this rejection everyone begins to continue their bullshit as smoothly as they denied it, up except I'm their new target. I try and keep my speech as literal as possible leaving out anything that might be misinterpreted or cause discomfort, steering the conversations and topics from trouble without getting involved in their games. They go around blatantly sounding off and flashing their teeth in conversation yet deny it all. When this happens the stone drags me down, unable to see how they can deny it while every ounce of them quivers with their intent. But I cant get myself to take part of the games once they've been denied and if i'm their target the stone wall is a defense i find myself in to allow nothing to be mistaken. If the people are unaware or have no memories of these happenings than who knows what they are capable of. so essentially what should be done as these games develop? do you let things happen as they do? remain at sideline analysis? do you shepherd the flock? is division necessary? when is the moment of action and is it always necessary? Once engaged how do you diffuse it? |

| its a drug thing, but anyways the stone is just awareness really and a lotta fear, basically the dog is forced due to the paranoia keep one eye in the rear view this stone is in my opinion awareness and that essentially overloads the dog and as he gets higher too many possibilities spiraling into a state of "pretending deaf dumb and stupid" done to keep an eye on everyone as a non threat in seek of self preservation because all sheep are killers at heart. And these thoughts become a stone that prevents you from any enjoyment and you are dragged down alone. | |

| the album in general is about the roles people will fall into while tripping balls. The dogs get satisfaction out of the kill and conflicts for the thrill of the game. This attracts the pigs who are able to usually get something out of it and will act for themselves alone. And like in the song sheep they sit around pretending that nothing is wrong until by the end of the night the traps have been woven too tight and little sanity remains. | |

after watching the lunatics and deciding it is time that he attempts to herd them in the first verses by that action they have gotten into the halls. These lines i think have to do with the paper being people and theyre trying to put on a poker face and disguise their news, even if its not being read the paper boy wont stop his deliveries. |

To me its the point where on a heavy trip things begin going awry or strange Bridges burning gladly -while tripping everyone is happy but friendships are at stake Merging with the shadows, - people change into both the who you know them as and who they really are, they begin to have hidden meanings with what they say and do Flickering between the lines. - these differences can be seen in glimpses through the shadows often heard. | This is definitely about someone who presents a big show and takes too many goodies which causes him to be both miles away and immature and in states like this you get because he cant handle his stuff and consequently he is trapped in his own world full of denial. They group then is attemting to get back through to him back down to earth but he simply smiles and speaks nonsense and they have to let him reset before they retry. Hes demanding assistance with rolling away the stone. | |
