It's a fairly vague song but I am pretty sure that the song itself has nothing to do with pedophiles. Just the video. I think the song is about a relationship that seemed like it was working or would have worked well. However, one of them ended up getting heart-broken and the other continued to tease him letting him believe that they could be together again but it's obvious to everyone else that it's not going to work. I'm not sure if my feelings have caused this interpretation or not but it seems that it could have been a warning to people like me not to let it happen.

It seems to be about a relationship that has ended but he is hoping that the spark will return and that if it doesn't, then she will just leave him alone. She seems to kind of tease him and lead him on to the point where he may hope or even believe he will have her again.

I think it's about a guy who really loves someone. He may be in the friend zone or just doesn't know her well. He loves her but can never really tell her that. Finally he runs to her to confess but then before he has the chance, tells himself that she'll never waste herself on him and is "In water burned". He says that he is fire and she is water. They'll never come together.

I'm a big fan of all metal music but out of Black Metal, this is my favorite song. I love Dead. I read that he had some form of Cotard Delusion (the belief that you are dead) and a couple of lines I found very interesting were, "What will be left for me when I'm dead?" (Future tense) "There was nothing when I lived" (Passed Tense). The way I have found most suicide songs by people who were not really suicidal had something to do with how sad life is while suicide songs by real suicidal people like this song talk a lot about how pointless and never-ending life is. That's why I love this song. It's much more realistic.

I could see it being about war but I could also see it as a double meaning song (very rare in a song that's in English). I could see it having to do with an abusive relationship. Possibly even a sadomasochistic one. One person is always told in the relationship everything to do including the mood they're supposed to be in. Also, if you haven't heard the cover by Orgy, you should listen to it. It sounds amazing.

Rammstein – Ich Tu Dir Weh (English) Lyrics

Rammstein has a lot of double meanings behind their music. Therefore, you can't explain their music very simply. This song was banned for a while because of its masochistic themes and like many have said, I believe it does have a lot to do with the soul and body relationship but I also beleive it compares said relationship to that of a couple, one being a masochist and the other a sado-masochist. The masochist (the body) loves to take the pain from the sado-masochist (the soul). The masochist loves the sado-masochist simply because sado-masochist doesn't love back ("Du liebst mich denn ich lieb dich nicht") but instead inflicts pain and suffering. Fairly disturbing lyrics but still an amazing and beautiful song.

Rammstein – Eifersucht (English) Lyrics	13 years ago
The thing with Rammstein is that they are almost never literal with their lyrics so to me it seems like a man is envious of another for everything that he has. He may even have his loved one. He basicly tries to say, "What does he have that I dont?" Not literally of course, he strips the man of everything he is envious of in an attempt to make himself seem better, possibly to the one he loves.

I'm guessing he still loves someone who no longer feels the same way for him. It seems he doesn't want to feel pity for himself so he turns it around and feels anger towards her hoping to stop loving her.
