The melody the song reminds me of the 1st few minutes of Terminator II depicting an older aged "John Connor" doing battle against the machines....\n\nAnyway I like how the song, the melody drives up the sense of the unknown - apprehension - fear & danger of foreboding, that is "LOOKOUT!"\n\nGreat song. |

Other than this assumption I suspect this song is also about Its association with electricity means electric blue communicates energy, action and excitement .... and I'll leave it at that. Crash Test dummies song and their style specifically hair style in the MV reminded me of the movie - "Last of the Mohicans", specially Daniel Day-Lewis, I rented this movie at the time the MV came out & thought at first the singer or band member was the actor Daniel Day Lewis as "Hawk Eye" only to quickly realize there is NO relation to the movie and music video lyrics. I was off by about oh... 250 years.

I remember this song as a kid walking to the school bus stop. I was hoping during the winter months I could be "blessed" w/ a unforecasted weather event such as a snow storm & have the school day off. But most of the time it never panned out;
Instead this song resonated w/ the motions of the morning, the melody, the lyrics was a comforting friend walking w/ me as well as a beagle named "Peppy". |

1,040,465,790 possible deck combinations - interpretations. The chances could reveal their meaning in the "probable outcome" unique to the individual who has been handed their hand after play, but given the lyrics - Title "...but that's not the shape of my heart." throws this "left brain" interpretation into question? So much for my ambidexterity coming to an all for everything explanation. |

I remember years ago (1990's) he mentioned in a interview the song was a description of the heart and mind (Shakespeare references?) not as two separate entities but one in the same, a complement to each other & remarked heart & mind...What is the difference? |
