hah! I just love how Bono fools the reporters! XD all the songs with pretty solid spiritual base, and he makes up a stupid story about each of them, and they give in. His interpretation is just funny tho! Anyone could guess he was joking.. or maybe not everyone. |

I'm with you on this one! fab explanation, thats what I feel myself.. the only thing is that on paris concert for example Bono says this songs is about kind of a restless spirit , I guess it can still be put into that context, but sounds a bit not like Ap. Paul would say it))) noone would compare Bono to Paul though. |

I'm also for the Trinity idea. Lover - Holy Ghost (soul soul soul sweet soul and she can sing - like Ap. Paul says in his writings that he will pray and sing in Spirit), Brother - Jesus Christ, as Christ was the symbol of brotherhood and those who seek Him are running after Him and He is running after us as well so we find the truth. Father part is obvious. And the throwing away the key I think its about the original sin, cause Adam sinned and thus "threw away" the keys that he had to the Garden of Eden. Song says " I " cause in Adam we all sinned, noone is a saint, and we have to get back to what Adam had to feel the Love meant in the song :) Peace and Love |
