I think this song is about a guy who wants to be with a girl. But, the girl is psychotic. - I think he's saying that the girl was beautiful. Her heart was of steel because she has emotional problems and even if she does fall in love - she wont be able to completely because she has emotional problems.I think he is saying that the emotional crap will not ever end. Even if she does begin to love him because she has problems. He wants to leave, but there is something about her- he cant leave. She has so many emotional problems that she cannot love him 100% (maybe trust issues) and appears emotionally cold to him and it's hurtful to him.He's upset with himself that he can't just leave it alone. I also think that he is saying that he cannot read her. He cannot get through to her (try to look in her eyes). He is justifying that she hurts him emotionally because she has issues (it isnt so bad, it's driving you mad). |
