I don't think this is what Slipknot intended this song to do, but to me, it's like his inner demons (or maybe he just suffers from multi-personality disorder) are driving him to be very brutal and violent in this relationship, but in the chorus (the acoustic part) he is trying to come through and be apologetic and tell her how he truly feels but then it takes him over again and it keeps cycling like that, until the end (when the chorus is heavy and distorted) when he is successfully breaking completely through, but ending in him completely dying inside |
