Hi there, I'm Ceilidh. I currently live in the UK and 15, very nearly 16. I love nothing better than sitting down with a good book, listening to my favorite music (Owl City, Chase Coy, Taylor Swift, Port Blue) and just generally thinking about life. :)

| This is so beautiful! I've tried a thousand times to put something like this into words, but it's safe to say I've failed miserably. I agree with you on everything you wrote here! I'm going to miss Adam's old music, y'know, the metaphorical, abstract, completely crazy kind. His music like Of June, Maybe I'm Dreaming, Sky Sailing even were the reason I was sent to sleep so easily. Now, his music is upbeat, and...normal. Normal is a tricky word to place, but I think Adam has lost his originality now. I know he's trying to get big and all, but I don't think he suits the genre of music he's trying. Don't get me wrong, Adam Young is my up most hero, my obsession, and the reason I am who I am today, but I just want him back, the real guy. The guy I fell in love with because his lyrics were so enigmatic and beautiful. Once again, I love how you've put this; you've spoken the words I couldn't, so thank you. Let us hope and dream Adam will realize truly where his heart lies before it's too late. :) | |

| Yeah I agree with oceanheart13. Schiller wrote this but wanted Adam's vocals. Wonder why? It's a really dark song and Adam sounds pretty good singing it; he's no longer the cute guy in his basement, he's mysterious,enigmatic, and pretty god damn gorgeous. | |

| I really love this song, I feel as if the music really reflects the mood of the song. This one is probably my favorite on the album, and I totally agree with everyone else. I guess my interpretation is that Taylor wants to be a relationship with someone, but knows that it will effect her future. | |

This song is incredibly beautiful. Don't you think it's funny how Adam Young uses such a basic tune, but can change the meaning of the music completely? Anyhow, my interpretation. I'm not fantastic at analysing so you'll have to exscuse me! Basically i believe this song is about falling in love at a young age, and wanting to do everything together. However time is short. I think Adam's realising their life isn't going to last forever and they want to fit everything in before they die. However, i think something went wrong, and they broke up, therefore leaving Adam alone. Or perhaps it's not Adam? Perhaps it's just a metaphor for someone else? I imagine many people go thorugh heart break everyday, and this song is just another love song. This is beautiful; truly beautiful. |

| This song is stunning; so powerful. I think Adam is implying we are never alone. Ghosts (nice ones of course) are always watching over us, praying for us. We are loved. I also think Adam is saying he wants to escape reality, he wants the angels to take him away. I think. :3 | |

When you're commenting, there's really no point saying it's obvious what the song is about, and then don't even state your opinion. People come on here to find out the meanings of the song, not to find out that other people know what it's about. Just saying. But yeah, anyway. I'm pretty sure this song is about a boy chasing a girl he likes but she keeps getting away. "One of these days I'll end up trackin' you down But, yeah, I got the feeling I'll be letting you loose when I do". This probably means by the time he's caught her, he's practically given up, and thinks it's better for her to be with someone she loves. He can never really get over her, but he's giving up the chase, in hopes she'll be coming back for him one day. That's my perspective of this song anyway. |

Yeah, I totally agree with everyone here :3 I adore this song with such an undeniable passion! It's the cutest, funniest, cleverest song i've heard for a long time. This song should have gotton bigger than it was (sales wise). |

| This is one of my favourite songs in the World, literally. Where do i start? Beautiful lyrics, dreamy music, enchanting beat and sound effects. Whoa <3 I just love everything about this song, it's perfect. And the main lyric, "Sailboats wish that they were stars", I just get these images in my head of glowing boats drifting through the sky. | I know what I think about the song, is not the correct definition, but it's just really fun making up your own perspective really! I always imagine 'Brielle' to be a girl he loves going away in a little sailing boat called Brielle. I think the lyrics just really support this theory, although it's totally wrong! But that's just mu opinion. | |
