| I am certainly no Christian, but a behavioral psychologist, specializing in addiction recovery, and who studies all religions to try and understand why people can have so much pain and low self esteem, and lack faith in a better tomorrow. I am trying to explain The mystery of Iniquity. In essence it is as follows: "If god is good, and all-powerful, then how come evil exists? Why do evil things happen and God allows it to happen. He MUST be powerless to stop it. If man caused the fall, then he is evil, God is powerless to stop evil, or sin, therefore God is Imperfect and cannot forgive man, so man must always be of sin, God and man remain imperfect , therfore Jesus is imperfect, cannot redeem (reconcile or make whole again) and man still dies anyway." Let me explain what using a little bit from any history book where this mystery began. Around 300 Ad there seemed to be a radical shift in thought that began circulating, and Sunday replaced Saturday as God's holy day. A trend that became known as Agnostic, anti-goodnews. The term was later replaced with Gnosticism and sometime around 1386 the Roman church banned people from owning a copy of the bible, and if you can't verify what is being taught, anything can be changed to suit the needs of corrupt politicians and other leaders. When you think of what the mystery is, it is essentially an error in human logic, as it uses circular reasoning and irrational thinking when it substitutes different terms to negate the teachings of the Early Christian church. That is Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John, essentially what is known as the Gospell, or good news. Natural- born leaders who changed what the bible actually said. The good news was replaced with the iniquity, good became evil, and man cold no longer be saved, and therefore should die "unto themselves" The usual message they bring is that man himself can become as God himself, by learning to forget everything and believe only what they say is the path. This is actually a Bhuddist teaching and should not be transferred. They were sometimes referred to as light bringers, enlightened ones, and sound truly amazing even in todays time. Yet their argument falls short after testing it by what good things it ultimately produces, and that is none. Only death at the end of this life. It fails to understand that evil is not an actual person, it is an action that is evil. Bad actions and choices sometimes do happen, even to good people. we all know we can forgive people of their mistakes. Definitely not found anywhere in the scriptures, so we must examine what it actually says using correct sentence structure : Eve gained some sort of KNOWLEDGE and it must have been so GOOD she ran to him, because he recognized her as not supposed to eat of the fruit of life, and the tree of knowledge. . There were two trees: the tree of life And the tree of knowledge of good and evil. No sex, no life or death. Its simply how we became aware that we are not perfect, and sometimes we do the wrong thing(evil) even though we are essentially good natured people, We cannot conclude that man is ultimately corrupt and never worthy of forgiveness. Lucifer is often used as a synonym for Satan, that is an incorrect assumption, as the latin term for lucifer means "light bringer". light is generally referred to as knowledge. Lucifer (The One who Brings knowledge) is mentioned only once in the bible, as the one who tempted Eve. Recall the earlier references to "enlightened ones". Sounds familiar? When something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. There is nothing new under the Sun. When people try to do good, there are always those who try to take them down with distorted reasoning, breaking the faith of otherwise good people and is a cause of depression. By the time they come see me for help they feel broken and almost dead inside. It takes an intense amount of therapy and medication to heal them when there was never a need to. And I feel their pain most deeply, It angers me. Why would you want to believe anyone who would do this to another person?
