No the term 'bitter pill' is not meant in the literal sense. It is a well known metaphor, usually said in the sentence such as 'it's a bitter pill to swallow'. Especially since their drugs of choice were coke and heroin and not vicodin. I think it's about addiction, specifically how no matter how hard you try it breaks your will and you do whatever it takes to score. |

just had to say Sum 41 totally ripped this song of hard. Not only did they use the same rhythm for the lyrics in their chorus, but they actually have the nerve to use the same word 'correction' as well! |
