| I thought I knew what this song was about until I read the lyrics! I thought he was saying "true love's kiss" - which makes sense with the romantic vibe of the song - but it's "Judas kiss"? Judas greeted Jesus with a kiss on the cheek the day he betrayed Jesus to Romans, so a "Judas kiss" would be a betrayal, not a sweet romantic moment. Anyone have thoughts? I don't know much about Dave Barnes, this song randomly popped up on my Pandora. Is it about being with someone who seems right in the moment ("on a night like this, you seem perfect") but is actually bad for you? | |
