| this song is absolutely beautiful. to me, it feels very hallucinogen influenced, i feel like avey could have written it while on mushrooms or after a trip. it has that vibe to me. to me this song is about being in a relationship and wanting it to go really fast because you really like that person, but knowing it should go slow if it is to succeed. "I figured it out/I think I've figured it out/We be patient" and "If I could just fix the clock I'd take you out/At breakfast time" shows that he knows he should be patient with moving the relationship forward BUT he wants to be able to move the clock immediately to the next time he can take her out and show her how beautiful the word is in the morning because he's impatient. not sure about the last stanza. | |
