To me, it's a song about loving someone so much you know you want to get old with them and die together - not in just a romantic, abstract way, but in the real, concrete details. It staggers me that such a gorgeous song can begin with such a horrible image. "I love you so much that I want you to find me dead of old age one day." Superb. |
