Kris Kristofferson – Loving Her Was Easier (Than Anything I'll Ever Do Again) Lyrics 23 years ago
This song is probably my all time favorite. In the early 70's, my husband would play his guitar and sing this song. We both loved the song. I tend to lean toward songs of lost love, and I think this is what this song is about. It is about a wonderful, short-lived, once in a lifetime kind of love. The last line,"but dreaming was as easy as believing it was never gonna end, and loving her was easier than anything I'll ever do again" gives a hint that it is over, maybe she just quit loving him or died. I don't know, but this is a great song that did not get much attention. You never hear it on any of the oldies programs, though I think it has been re-made by a couple of country music singers. Does anyone know who did remakes of this song?

Elton John – I Want Love Lyrics 23 years ago
I just can't get the song, "Levon" out of my mind. What does it mean? Is it a religious metaphor? You know, He was born on a Christmas day, when the New York times said "God is dead"; and he called his son Jesus, cause he must have liked the name. It goes on to say,"Ye or You shall be Levon (believe on?) And who is Alvin Tolstig(Alvin Tolstig has a son today)? Any thoughts on this song, please reply. I keep this song in my head all the time, and I need to know what meaning Elton John meant to present. Thanks, Analyzer2no
