Brandon Flowers' religious, but that doesn't mean this song's religious. He wouldn't either write a song against any other religions. He said in an interview that he respects all religions and beliefs, that everyone's entitled to believe what they like. He said he didn't believe in putting any beliefs down, so I don't think he'd write a song against religion.......... |

Agonoizes' a great band. I'd love to understand what this song means, if he's bashing churches, or if he's like me wondering where to look for religion? I was brought up as a Catholic and I'm confused by a lot of the bible's teachings. In James 1 27 Jesus' teachings are clear about looking after others and doing good, which we do as Catholics but what does it mean keep oneself from being polluted by the world? In Ephesians 4 11 Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers. Why don't we have apostles, prophets....? Going off the song a bit, but I'd love some explanations please |
