I believe that each song has a different meaning to each person but to me it means she found someone she loves but he's different than other people, and people probably call him weird because he's different. And she loves that about him, she loves that he is not just another 'normal' person. :) |

I think it might be about sometimes you can't get through some difficulties by yourself and sometimes you need someone like friends to help lift you up and really help you, not just by having fun and having a good time but the things that really matter like to stop wasting time. Then you truly know you have friends because they don't just use you to go out and have fun and not really care about your problems, no true friends would do anything to help you even if they are you don't like it right now. What do you guys think? |

I think it might be about changing yourself to be accepted by others and to be liked by everyone. The lyrics state about his guts and blood etc could mean they are changing who they really are to become someone they want to be. Catching bullets in your teeth seems to have many metaphors but it could mean like dodging a bullet which would mean he dodged a bullet about having an enemy so he changed himself to become that persons friend, but now he doesn't know who he really is anymore "and now we don't remember." Just my opinion lol. Great song btw! |

I think it might be about him being afraid of who he is, example, 'blame it on my ADD' is just a cover for a different problem, a bigger problem while "maybe I'm a different breed" means that he feels different and not quite right possibly judged? and wants so just get away or "sail" away (metaphor). "Maybe I should kill myself" is just an easy way out of his problems. Hope that makes sense. Kinda sad.
