Well, I think every once in a while we get our hearts broken from a guy/girl we thought would never do it. The name "gravity"... I mean, gravity isn't bad, it's what keeps us down to Earth, now isn't it? I guess we can all relate past relationships to the word gravity, sometimes we feel like relationships hold us down. Could be holding us from reaching our dreams. Could be holding us from something better, but it is so marvelous, and it's so blinding, we get lost in it and it drags us down. We think it's everything we need, when really it's not. I think of Sara as a strong woman, and I think when she wrote this song all she wanted to say is "I was mistaken, you're not right for me, but I can't seem to get enough of you." It's such a beautiful song, and thank you for reading this. |
