Red Hot Chili Peppers – Under the Bridge Lyrics 13 years ago
This is one of my most favorite songs of any gener.

Eveyone has felt the feeling of loneliness or isolation. Its not a good feeling!

He makes refrence that he found companionship in the great city of Los Angeles.

Maybe he's making refrence to drugs, but whatever the refrence is, I think a lot of people can relate to makeing self destructive decioness at low times.

I like how he is alomst bragging about his new found companion, alomst like he saying to whoever it is that caused him this pain; "I dont need you!"

Lissie – In Sleep Lyrics 13 years ago
Like many of Lissie's Love Songs, she knows how to connect.

Weather this song be about a lost lover, or a father(relative) that has past away, I think her audience can connect.

And the notion that she can only seem him "in sleep," is very deep. Especialy when she mentions she doesnt want to wake up, you can alomst intermprit that as suicidle.

The lyrics remind me of a The Cure song, Close to me:
I've waited hours for this
I've made myself so sick
I wish I'd stayed asleep today

All n All, great song!

I agree, that her man left her but I dont see that it was for sure a "break up," maybe he died, maybe he got sent over seas, maybe he's in jail. But whatever the resaon he is out of her life and she is torn up about it.

She does feel like she is not in aggreance with what ever the reason is.

Lissie – Everywhere I Go Lyrics 13 years ago
Well its clearly a love song.

I beleive she is describing the feeling of complete vulnerability to a lover.

In the chorus, she repeats:
I fall on my knees (meaning: begging, at your mercy)
Tell me how's the way to be (meaning: tell me what you want)
Tell me how's the way to go(meaning: tell me how to act)

Then in the rest of the song she explains the saddness and anxiety she feels for making her self so vulnerable. And how all she wants is some form of recepications.

The refrence to danger is how she feels, and the refrence to angels is that she hopes for redemtion or relief from this terriable way she feels.
