To me this song is about a girl who is suffering from depression, which is the the metaphor for the 'cold, dark sea' and someone is trying to help them but they're are pushing them away, even though she really wants them to stay and help. In the end she falls asleep, maybe into a deeper state of depression, and she can feel everyone watching her, especially those of the person who was trying to help her. |

I agree with nxj18, but I got more of an indian impression. 'Baby lion lost his teeth, Now they're swimming in the sea. Made me think of a young indian called Cub, who died during his first battle. This song seemed like someone's recollection of his last moments and his thoughts and sadness of having to bury him at sea. |
