If you actually knew anything about the zac brown band, then you would know that they are not anything like you described, for example watch the fiddlist Jimmy De Martini play, he is possibly the most talented violinist i have ever watched, that people in orchestras such as the Washington Philharmonic orchestra. Also just watch Zac, he is an amazingly talented guitarist. One more thing the band in no way fits the mold of nashville, listen to their new album, i couldn't even be moved to put it into a single genre. |

Kaki...how ignorant are you! Do you truly believe that every single problem in the Middle East is a direct cause of the United States? Since the very beginning of civilization the region known as the fertile crescent has been one of the most fought over regions in the world. In the beginning the fight was between the Semitics and the Palestine people, then came the Hebrews and the Romans, after that came the Jews and the Arabs, following that came the crusades, for centuries during the crusades the Islamic Arabs fought the Christian Europeans. The Crusades left a permanent distrust and enmity lingering in the generational memory of christians, jews, and muslims. Today the conflicts that are ongoing result from the hatred that has built up over millenia. so no the US did not start any of the problems in the current Middle East... |

James Taylor wrote this song shortly after being signed to a record deal to Apple Records by the Beatles. He was sitting in an office in London, surrounded by all these new people and exciting things yet he was still feeling homesick. The Beatles are reference in this song as a "holy host". In fact on the original track Paul McCartney played bass and George Harrison sang backup vocals. The song also references his drug abuse problems and how he wishes he could just go back to carolina and the way thing were when he was a kid. |
