I think this song can be both about his father and about girl he loved,I think Its just song about pain and missing one you loved(no matter who). First verse is clear about his father, that he leaved them and he still feel the pain, but line about burying the pain could be also refer to the love he lost (girl). The Chorus is about girl, He saying that he love her, but she couldn't see it, and last lime shows clearly that is about that he lost the one he loved. Lysithia Maybe you are right but my Interpretation is that he loved the girl that got away or he broke up with her and he still feel/remember her. He see her in everything as he mentioned in first verse. With other girl he feels uncomfortable, because he doesn't love her. |
