| I do agree that the song is mainly about childhood memories, and I think the second verse talks about an eclipse. They talk about a "perilous light" and how they weren't allowed outside but no one could tell them why. Parents are sure to forbid their kids from going outside during an eclipse but a lot of them won't be able to really explain why, because a lot of people don't know what makes the sunlight dangerous during and eclipse. | |
