this song represents adam and eve in the garden. thats why theirs paint. they are naked and than they are clothed and sense eve ate the apple she has knowledge prolly more know than adam.. adam remains clothed and eve doesnt.. she becomes naked again.. representing purity.. adam is still poisoned from the apple and has forgotten eve. eve tries to reminds adam that they are meant to be together but sense he is poisoned he doesnt see the same eve.. his eyes are deceiving him. so eve is basically saying.. hey well.. its me and too bad if you dont realize.. not trying to be bitter however.. this is why adam is suffering because he doesnt realize it is eve.. eve is being sarcastic when she is saying.. its somebody you used to know.. however sense satan is the father of all lies.. adam eyes are not open at all to eve.. they are closed.. and that is what the forbidden fruit does.. it doesnt open your eyes.. it closes them. adams eye are closed become he thinks eve has changed.. but she hasnt. he has. |
