hey i am from germany and i speak german and english i am going to translate this song for you i think this is one of there most famous songs .... i am not a fan but i saw that "many" people commented on this song so here is my translation ...but first : we butter the bread with butter took an old german lullaby or song for children as base for these song they wrote more lyrics and made it brutal ...it´s a kind of hard because some german words doesn´t exist in english all my ducklings ( ducks :D... i just don´t know in german the word is "ente" and "entchen" is the cute form of duck if you know what i mean :D ) simming in the sea little head into the water little tail hold up take the gasoline tip it into the water they want to escape but are to small all my ducklings swimming in the sea little head into the water little tail hold up ... today we´ll have ducks ( in the meaning of ducks as dinner) i´ll get them from the sea head off tail off it won´t hurt all my ducklings lay on the table whether crispy or (süß-sauer... these asian sauce which taste sweet and sour) mhhh (delicious) they are fresh all my ducklings are now inside my stomach every little duck and there mother too ok ok not the best translation but its really hard to translate from german to english because they wrote this song in urban language if you know what i mean |

i would like to explain my opinion about the song but excuse my bad english because english isn´t my mother tongue first part... in my opinion "pocket" stands for his heart or mind and he completely fell in love with a girl so she can not get out of his mind and he is always thinking about her it´s like she´s sitting in his "heart" and it´s locked and the heart became something like a home for her because she will be always save in it because nobody can rob his feelings and thoughts about her second part: "nobody ever told you that it was the wrong way to trick a woman make her feel she did it her way" maybe he is insecure by handling her so he made mistakes but gave her the feel she is in control of the situation he´ll be always by her side also when she is going to find someone new because every second with her is precious to him no matter how she treat him. third part: he slaps on a smile no matter how bad he feels because of worrying about losing her one day because he knows he loves her more than she loves him he can´t get happy with someone else and he´s afraid of losing her and he frustrates her lovingly but she can´t stand this and always threatened to leave him "grab hold of her fast before her feet leave the floor and she´s out the door".... self-explanatory... fourth part: when she left him he was thankful to know her "and in the beginning all you wanted was to show her"... self-axplanatory "but now you´re scared you think she´s running away" ...he won´t annoy her again he is completely helpless and don´t know what to do. she baffle him everything he says could annoy her " search in your hand for something clever to say ...DON´T GO AWAY!" maybe you´ve got some grammar tips for me ;) |
