"I loved you then and I love you now" ...I think "THEN" refers back to the party and "NOW" he cannot seem to shake the feeling off. so basically he is talking about that night at the party. He kisses the girl he's into but has no words for her. looks like he is trying to tell her something but clearly he is tongue tied. He is so high he starts tripping out and tries to pull himself together by splashing water on his face but is being chased by some masked men (in my opinion they are a symbol of fear- he is running from his fears) he's trying to get away from them but no matter where he looks they seem to appear. "Dont leave me tongue tied, Dont wave no good bye"- he doesn't want it to end this way. He's in now complete desperation, like, WHAT THE *** HAPPENED!!!??? I LOVE THIS SONG! i feel the pain! lol |
