in my mind its about a person who just got through a real heavy drug addiction. when someone finally decides its time to get clean, it feels weird to live life and not be obsessing about always having a bag of chemicals in your pocket. its a beautiful and new feeling that just being with a girl is all you could need. hes righted everything in his life that generally gets muddled in the life of a fiend and things have become all but normal again. it starts to get hairy because although there is a real external happiness that you feel, there is a lingering internal emptiness. even though things are as good as they could be and the world has become your oyster, there is always a longing for an answer that just doesnt exist. |
