I know what you are trying to say , and actually something changed in me way before i read your comment , i know exactly why i didnt like his personality in some ways , but i found out that mine was so similar to him even in those ways ! so i guess people dont like it when they see someone similar to themselves lol I can relate to almost all of his songs , sometimes it's like i m reading my old diaries ! And i should admit that was a very bitter experience when i found out ( and i mean i had a self discovery experience by that ) that i'm actually like someone that i cant stand their manners ! and maybe that made me understand him better by understanding my own self ... I always wished him the best in music and life , and still do :) |

I never Actually liked John Mayer personally , but I always admired his work though This one to me , is one of his most beautiful songs till this day Can relate to it in my little world when I wish these things to happen so ... I'm waiting on the day :) |

To me this song is about falling in love with someone special and experience an special feeling that you never felt before with anyone else , it's like magic all around you and before it comes , you didn't know such feelings would ever exist ! and that makes every single details , every similarities so special to you - because of the person you feel for , not those similarities that you may have in other relationships too - it comes and changes your whole beliefs about love and relationships And as she said the guy is her Achilles heel , cause he has the power to break her down , he has the power to make her the Quine of the world , everything depends on him , cause he has the power to change her life ( this shows how this love is different and special to her) BUT , the guy actually DID change her life with his decision to break her down ! as she says "And I never saw you coming And I’ll never be the same" I truely believe that by this part , she means though he was that special that she didn't even believe such this love would come to her life , but when he did those things that he did to her , he changed her and she will never be the same in that relationship and she refuses to come back and continue it . Why am I so sure that this song is actually a breakup song ? cause the code of the song is "I love you doesn't count after goodbye" and it's so obvious that the song is about JG (two fire signs , four blue eyes) . and most of taylor's fans know why they broke up at the first place ( he left her because of the public image and paparazzi etc. and then he regretted and came back and did it again and again ) It's not a surprise why most of songs on the album are about him ( I guess she lately said that in an interview on tv show that some people are like you can't write any songs for/about them and then you write almost a whole album about a guy ) , this song is the answer why ! JG was that special and different for her and then he left her so suddenly and he messed up her life ! I'm sure beside this song and WRNEGBT and All too well ; Sad Beautiful Tragic , Red , The moment I knew and The Last Time are about him as well ! |
