KoЯn – A.D.I.D.A.S. Lyrics 13 years ago
I aint gonna front - I dream about sex all day. However, who the fuck doesn't. 99 percent of people - men and women - dream about sex all day or a lot of the day, unless they are keepin themselves in check through sprituality and Religion. I don't do a good job of that so I am constantly a pimp in all my fantasies. Be honest people, sex is great. If one doesn't wish to be hooked on sex then they should become religious or spiritual. Even then it is hard to do. Trust me, I should know, I am spiritual.

This song is AMAZING! This is my favorite song that Jon has writen, ever. Dark and powerful. Jon has such amazing rang as a rock singer. To me there is nothing, musically, that is more dark, with the exception of Dark Ambient. Jon is one of the darkest lyricist I've ever heard. The only songs, as a whole, that I can relate to, on a deep and personal level, is certain songs that the band Korn has put out. I very much relate to this song in my own way. Brilliant! I must also say that there is no singer that is darker, more psychotic and more disturbing in tone then Jon. I also love that Korn really went in an avant-garde direction with their first album. Jon, and even Korn, have always been about experimenting so to seperate their band from others. Korn is not Metal, nor grunge, Nu-Metal, Funk, Hardcore Punk, Hip-Hop or Rap, or any other label that is put on them for commercial reasons. Simply, Korn is Korn.

Nirvana – All Apologies Lyrics 13 years ago
Who says songwriting, or writing poetry, is strictly an art, and not a therapy? Why can't they be both? It is bullshit to say that people who write some of the most meaningful and articulate poems, or songs, are just making art. Art is simply the process of creating something personal or different, or expressing how one feels or sees the world as it is. I'm a poet, and when I write poetry you damn right I am expressing the shit I feel. As a result, I am creating art. Art is self expression, i.e. I am expressing my self in that moment of deep sadness and sorrow or hella joy. Kurt Cobain was a song writer and deeply depressed, and, as a result, created something dark. You can't just be happy or joyful and, at the sametime, be in a mindstate to create something dark, or really depressing. It doesn't work that way unless you are being told what to create. In that case it is not art, because you are not the one creating it (or expressing your self through poem or song) for it is someone else, with money to make, using you to create a product to increase their profits.

This song is so funny. I have to say that this is one of my feel good songs. To me, this is dark humor at its best.

Vitamin C – Graduation (Friends Forever) Lyrics 13 years ago
This song depresses me. It depresses me, not because I relate to it, but because it reminds me of things I don't want to remeamber. This song means regardless of what happens after graduation we will still be friends forever. I think this song is suppose to comfort people, or make things easier for them, before they graduate. Again, this song doesn't comfort me. It just makes me extremely depressed to the point of suicide.

John Lennon – Imagine Lyrics 13 years ago
This song very much describes how I, and most people, if not everyone, would like the world to be. This song describes a communist (not necessarily Marxist) future where all of humankind is enlightened (or awakened from their suffering). Everyone is free to be one, instead of separated by Religion, ownership of property, greed and hunger. As one we share and no one starves, and when separated many are greedy while others grow hungry.

I believe that John Lennon, in this song, is saying that if everyone becomes a dreamer of a better world, where we aren't separated by nations, we aren’t owning or taking what we see, and keeping it from others, killing and dying over what we have, and are deeply attached to and desire greatly, but, instead, share the world, and dream what John Lennon is dreaming of, or Imagining — an enlightened world order of peace - then we can all make the dream come true. When we all come together, and remain united, and imagine a world of love, peace, and harmony, looking past our ego, then we - the world - will be as one. John Lennon is saying "I hope someday you'll join us," with “us” being Lennon and all those who dream of an enlightened world order, instead of a world where we are sad and depressed, not letting go of pain, and making such pain worse to where we explode on others, or self-destruct, and to where we are cynical, or we lay in despair, believing things in the world will never get better, even though they can get better and there is no reason why they shouldn’t get better.

This song, simply, is telling how things are, currently, but how they don't have to be this way if we all come together as one, hoping for the same thing - a better world then the hell we are in - so as one (United) "the world will be as one."

This is not a Beatles song. This came out in 1971, which is one year after the Beatles broke up.

Tupac Shakur – Violent Lyrics 13 years ago
This is a very powerful song all the way through. To me it is one of his best. If you listen to how the story is set up it really is violent. Everyone thinks gore and cutting people up, like it ain't no thang, is violent. I don't see how that is violent. The most violent music to me is Gangsta rap or this song, which is more political. Some Horrorcore, like Insane Poetry and Eminem, comes accross as violent. Violence is suppose to be real and powerful, but not in even a good way. Dance with the Devil, by Immortal Technique, is the most violent song in my opinion, because listenning to the violence hurts so bad. Tupac here is keepin it real all the way through talking about something that goes on constantly. Thank the War on Drug and Mass Incarceration for keepin poor people of color down. This song fits into a wide historical context of black oppression, that persists throughout this country. Believe it or not, but every so called "conspiracy theory" having to do with the U.S. government and State governments oppressing blacks is not even a theory or imaginary or nutty ideas. That is the truth, which African Americans have faced throughout American history. Everyone except the rich white male has been oppressed from the beggining of this nation and since plantations were set up in the Americas. When this country was founded "people" was defined as white male property and land owner. That ain't no conspiracy theory. That is a straight historical fact. Anyways, great song.

This song is very much about God. That seems pretty clear. He is conflicted when it comes to God. He wants to hold on, but he doesn't know how long he can due to the screwy experience he is going through.

Brotha Lynch Hung – Return Of Da Baby Killa Lyrics 13 years ago
This is my favorite song by Brotha Lynch Hung, and one of my favorite Horrorcore rap songs. This song is a pro abortion song. I heard Lynch say so. To paraphrase what he said "Ya'll made me the baby killer, I'm just talkin about abortion and how I am for it. If it wasn't for abortion I'd have so many kids." The person who put the lyrics on here did a horrible job. 4 those hatin on Lynch I just have to say eat a dick and understand what ill rap is, and just go listen to your pop shit that you think is so wonderful. Mainstream/pop fans make me sick. I'm down with the sickness, not faggit ass shit.

Gary Jules – Mad World (Tears for Fears cover) Lyrics 13 years ago
This is my favorite song, ever. In the beggining this song depressed me. I was depressed when listening to it for years. This song is about life, and life can sure be depressing. However, this song doesn't depress me anymore, as something has occured for me to where I now relate to it and I am filled with joy as I know what awaits for me. This song doesn't mean what it meant when I was depressed by it. Now it takes on a different meaning. I had a vission in 2009. I know my destiny and purpose. This song is a reminder of my purpose. And since my purpose and destiny gives my joy this song brings me joy. I also relate to the Donnie Darko character in the movie Donnie Darko. My purpose is the reason I don't fear death, or being killed, as much as I use to. I was very paranoid about that. Now, that is all gone. This song is amazing.

Nirvana – Lithium Lyrics 13 years ago
As someone who is bipolar, I can honestly say that this is one of the few songs, that I have ever heard, which I can relate to in a big way. And I'm not even a huge fan of Nirvana. Don't get me wrong though. I feel that Nirvana was one of the most talented mainstream bands of the entire 1990's.

Eminem – Kim Lyrics 13 years ago
Regardless of what anyone thinks of Eminem, he was a straight heartless and fucked up person for playing this infront of a live audience with her in the crowd, and using blow up dolls to reinact it, while getting the audience to sing along. Eminem is a straight piece of shit for that stunt he did, as it led her to want to take her own life, which would of left Eminems kids without a mother. Both Eminem and Kim would be to blame for Kim's death. Thank god she failed. Kids need both parents in their life, as much as possible. He actually wrote this song before he got with Dre. I beleive he wrote this song in 1997. I'm pretty sure that was the date. His first diss on her was in the early 90's. The history between these two is a long one.

Radiohead – Creep Lyrics 13 years ago
This song very much seems like a man who wants to ask some girl, he really loves, out but believes that she is too good for him as he in totally inferior. So, in the very moment he wants to ask her out, he thinks "what the hell am I doin here? I don't belong here, I don't belong here." Then another way it could be interpreted is that this guy is having some relationship problems, and is so distrought about it that he want to kill himslef. The suicidal part comes mainly from

"And I wish I was special
You're so fuckin' special

But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
I don't belong here

I don't care if it hurts
I want to have control
I want a perfect body
I want a perfect soul

I want you to notice
When I'm not around
You're so fuckin' special..."

I could also describe the mind of someone who is just about to shoot up a school. Scarry shit.
