Tillman (aka Father John Misty) has been very up front in interviews that he wanted to make an album about his actual experience instead of trying to be some overly poetic alter-ego. He revealed that this song is about flying to Baltimore for his grandfather's funeral and shortly thereafter having a tryst at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. |
