The song seems to be about people that are broken-hearted and can't seem to move on easily. "Come back, rebound Simpler said than found" Nor do they know how they will get to the point that they have moved on, but they'll get there. "Somehow, someway, we all get to someday..." They are slowly getting better and recovering: "Disaster has a way of remaking our hearts..." It's not exactly easy for them to move on, but they're making progress. It might not happen any time very soon, but they'll get there. "Long after the thunder and scars Days pass and bit by bit we begin to restart..." And I'm not very sure, but I think that this line: "We will be the last ones To finally see when we're done" Is also about how it will take a long time for them to move on, but they too will find their love. It's a really good song, with a kind of happy and hopeful message, but can somehow make you sad and remember what you wanted to forget. |
