I think this song is pretty self-spoken. Personally, I don't think there's much room for interpretation although it's really easy to over-analyze. But it really seems like the song speaks for itself, even considering a lot of their songs are open to wide interpretation. My favorite line is when he sings "And you'll follow the creek that runs out into the sea And you'll find the peace of the Lord." I think he's talking about someone killing themselves, and finding the peace the you can only find in the moment between life and death. It's really sad to think this guy had to kill himself to find that peace. The lines : "You've waited for forever and a day Just to die And someday soon You will die" Helped me when I was going through a hard time, the kind where you honestly just want to die, and it reminded me that life was short, and it'd be over before i knew it. I just found some sort of comfort in that. All in all, this song is beautiful, strangely easy to relate to, and I wish more people could experience songs like this that are so real, and true to how life really is. This song must be played at my funeral. |

| This song is so beautiful, everything about it. It's all about love. Not mushy gushy love, but what is truly love and what people will do for someone just because they love them. | |
