I can really relate to this. He was so fixated on what he thought life and especially a relationship would be like and then he finds out reality is nothing like that.I imagine that his girl has left him (if they were together at all). He is looking back at all his missed opportunities, but he knows he's just going to make the same mistakes in the future. I lived my life precisely this way and now I'm a 25 year old quadriplegic who's never had a girlfriend and will never know what it feels like to be inside a vagina. I let far too many opportunities slide through my fingers when I was able-bodied because the girls and situations weren't exactly the way I had imagined them. Moral of the story: Live for the moment or you may regret something forever. |
