I'm sure the song is about losing a romantic partner but it always reminds me of my Mom and her death due to cancer. "And I gave, all I could, but it wasn't good enough And you said that you would be here before I woke up Now you're gone" I was too young to give enough to her even though I did give what I could. " Why don't you take me, with you" reminds me of how I felt when I "lost" her. |
