| This song will always hold a special place in my heart. In a time when I thought that I could no longer feel anything anymore, somebody came along and opened up my heart again, without even knowing it. I can't really explain how I feel any better than using the words from this song. I mean every single word is perfect and describes the situation exactly the way my heart would. I will never forget how he helped me realize that I can feel again, and even though nothing came of it, I am truly grateful to him. | Everytime I listen to this song...I find something new that makes me love it even more. Like most of the girls that have commented on it, I can relate to a lot of what he is saying. But I think what I like best about it is that even though this girl he is singing about is stuck in this life that she has become so accostomed to that it is more of a routine than anything else, and she feels empty, he just wants to help her break free and help her feel. And in turn all he asks for is her to save him back...probably because he just watches this routine of hers so much that he needs to be saved so he can feel something real and also help her feel something real too. It's such a great romantic idea; saving people that we care about. In a way we all need to be saved. Maybe one day somebody can come along and save me too. | |

this song is amazing....when i first heard it last summer i thought it was awesome..but now it's even better b/c it't more than just a song for me...it has helped me realize that even though things don't turn out how you thought they would, you aren't the only one out there feeling bad about something gone bad...and even though it hurts to let go and just say "screw it...i refuse to care anymore" almost as bad as being left behind by someone...sometimes you just have to walk away...and this song has helped me see that... "can you tell that i'm losing myself i think i'm trying too hard to let it show to let you know to trace your footsteps back to me" i cant even count the number of times i have lost myself in my ex just trying to get him to come back and realize that what we had was incredible.....but hearing this song makes me realize that if you have to try so hard that you lose yourself then you have to come to the point where you can realize that its not worth it. move on... "well i thought i would never leave anything behind i also never thought i'd say tell all my friends i'm dead i'm leaving you, this time its for good tell all my friends that i'm dead it won't be long before you forget my name" hell yeah!! couldnt have said it better myself. it is always good to put your life into perspective when you hear someone elses struggles and problems....and thats how this song helped me! :) |
