| Cartel – Wasted Lyrics | 13 years ago |
This song is about the frustration of the circle of life. Everyone goes about their daily life doing the same thing, generation after generation? For what? Everyone just dies at the end, everyones lives are wasted. Our lives are over so quickly and no one really takes full advantage of it. The song gives many interpretations in which their lives are wasted and ruined. The man who had a wife and kids, his kids are neglected and the kid leaves home not wanting a family. This is very similar to his father and continues the circle. The song creates a very empathetic tone with humanity pleading us to get up and take advantage of our life, live it for now, not continue with the same every single day. |

| Birds of Tokyo – The Saddest Thing I Know Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I think this song is about drugs, alcohol, gambling, drink driving. I think the song is bagging out all the loser's who give humanity a bad name. The people who gamble all their money and spend everything on alcohol. The people who decide to drink drive and kill someone else in the process but don't care and keep doing what they're doing. Birds of Tokyo is appalled by today's society and the negative rammifications which the loser's bring. |

This is a song of regret, he realises he should have done more when he was younger realises what could have been. He defines the sad truth that when we're younger we aren't clever and don't understand what we can do with our lives and it isn't untill we grow older that we realise what we could have bcecome. It's a sad sad truth. |

| Taxiride – Creeping Up Slowly Lyrics | 13 years ago |
I think this song is about drugs. He is seems like he's taking drugs and it's becoming his life and he can't get out of it all. "Got your life wrapped up in the palm of your hand" I think that 'Creeping up slowly' refers to the feeling of the drugs coming upon him and he knows he has to change. I think that maybe his girlfriend is wanting to leave him because he isn't himself but a drug addict. "Wrap it up in the palm of your hand Trying to feel what I feel but you can't understand No, you won't be satisfied 'til you see That something is gonna change" |
