Feels like it's about drug use -- young people exploring drugs and different feelings, even though the elders told them otherwise. Also there seems to be a character who, despite being old, is still doing the 'unwise' things. Awesome song. |

I think it's fairly obvious now, but it took me a while to get it (only listening): The singer (who is not so religious) is asking God (likely the Christian one) to make a religious girl love him. |
