The words in this song is the perfect battle cry for anyone who's been in a relationship with a narcissist.
The red flags are certainly there because he made sure to place them right under your nose – just to see how long he can continue before you holler foul, just to watch you squirm. There are "no apologies" for unacceptable, inappropriate, hurtful words and behavior because they were neither careless nor thoughtless, they were quite intentional. He feels no remorse for any of it and thinks he's somehow above apologizing. He's an arrogant prick who places his own gratification above everyone and everything else – "he never loved me, or her, or anyone, or anything". |
