Totally agree. It is so entrancing and haunting.

B.o.B – Nothin' On You Lyrics 13 years ago
Wow, I've never caught that before. Lupe and B.o.B are my two favorites. B.o.B really has different sides to him though, which is what makes him great. The mainstream side with stuff like this and even Airplanes (even though the rap lyrics in Airplanes aren't too mainstream styles). You got the sweet, melodic side (Lovelier Than You). And then you have the lyrical genius, pondering, philosophical side (Dr Aden, Don't Let Me Fall, No Man's Land"

Lupe Fiasco – Little Weapon Lyrics 13 years ago
Read the book "A Long Way Gone" by Ishmael Beah.

This song is about the same thing. Child soldiers in the "holy" wars and civil wars.

That is literally exactly what I was thinking. Crazy ass book.

Could be about drugs, who knows? The beginning makes it sound like drugs for sure. "For those doing it legally and illegally"

Lupe Fiasco – Words I Never Said Lyrics 13 years ago
The best part is that the song was originally meant to be about a girl who broke up with him when Atlantic first fed it to him.

He took it and spun his own little web of brilliance instead of doing what they wanted him to do with it.

I agree, some conspiracies are at least logical, but 9/11 theories are just dumb.

I don't think Lupe meant exactly that though. I think it was more a filler and a question, rather than a belief.

Justin Nozuka – Lullaby Lyrics 13 years ago
I think it's about a woman who gets into a car wreck with her little daughter in the passenger seat (the first few lines).

Then it jumps forward to after the accident, when the mother is depressed and full of regret, and everything reminds her of what she lost in the little girl.

Then as she's killing herself, she has a flashback of the same incident that happened in the real accident, except when she reaches for Katie, she's actually able to grab her as she ascends to heaven.

Justin Nozuka – Golden Train Lyrics 13 years ago
I think he's saying that if something that would make them have to split, like a big job far away from where he is, or some other dream dude, would she leave him or would she stay.

Justin Nozuka – After Tonight Lyrics 13 years ago
A lot of people say it's about taking a girl's virginity, but I think it's just talking about love in general. She'll have a night she never forgets because he showers her in love.

Justin Nozuka – Save Him Lyrics 13 years ago
She's definitely saying "Save him" as in the man who's beating her, not save the son. She truly does love him, but of course he's abusing.

Crazy song though, easily an all time favorite.

Justin Nozuka – No Heaven Lyrics 13 years ago
Pretty straight forward. Dude's brother is depressed, wants to end his life and wants his brother to follow him. Tells him heaven's a better place, and goes along with his plan.

His brother is so distraught that he questions whether there is a heaven or not.

Gary Jules – Mad World (Tears for Fears cover) Lyrics 13 years ago
I think it's about depression, but also about the confusion of human conformity. People just run through a sullen routine, without even realizing it. The dude's depressed and is questioning why people do these strange things.
