I have an inkling that there is more to this song than meets the eye. Sure it is also a love song, perhaps his previous love who he is no longer with but still cares about to some degree...? If the sky is really falling, and this life is really ending then why be alone .. perhaps this means to stop causing pain (to himself, and or his past loves) and just enjoy right now, today, because that is all we really have, ever. The final part of the music clip shows that everyone lays down on the road - so why are all those people in the clip at all? Maybe we should all lay down our guns and just be at peace. The album is called "Awakening", I personally get the message loud and clear. |
