Here's what I think this somg means: The song talks about this guy who still loves this girl (who he may have been with or still is with her idk which). While he still loves her he wants to not love her, but he's scared that, "I'm afraid I would lose who, Who I gave my love to" meaning the guy he became cus of her or the guy he was with her. He feels like he's being drawn in with their love even when the actual relationship may be going downhill, "And it hurts, Cause I wanna leave, and you wanna leave, But the love keeps us together." I think I can relate to this song because me and my ex remained friends and we see a lot of each other. Even now when I see him I get these same feelings I had when we were going out, but I know it's over. It's like we can't just stop seeing each other because we did love each other a lot. I don't know how he may feel, but for me it's like I don't want to loose him because we had so many happy memories together while going out. I want to say that I'm fully over him, but because I still think of him with love idk if I am. And here is where trey's part about love being a heart attack may come in. You love someone, don't want them, want them back, or don't know if you want them which causes strain on the heart, hence heart attack. |
