This song makes me think of an omnipresent creator. The universe to me points to evidence of a supreme creator. This song in my mind points out these facts. It also makes this creator sound beyond the understanding of humans. This is shown when it says "no horns, no crown of thorns will fit on me" and I agree with this to an extent. Being a believer in Christianity and Intelligent design, this song seems to echo a lot of my beliefs. These guys write some incredible lyrics in their music. They make you think about deep things and improve your state of mind. The only group other group that I have found to do this well is Tool. The fact that these guys can compete with such an incredible band like Tool in this manner, is definitely something worth noticing. This band is definitely one of my all time favorites. |
