This song is my first love, like it was written just for me and him. At first I couldn't listen to it but then really loved it and now it makes me feel stronger(it didn't kill me) but I still get that "ache" and it's been 30 years since i fell in love with him. We even almost got back together 5 years ago but it all blew up cuz of something from his past that would've kept me from getting custody of my 6 yr old daughter. Then he turned it all around and put the blame on me when he knows deep down it's his fault again that we're not togethter. First loves never go away........ |

I see that everyone seems to agree that this song was about cocaine and addiction. I was 17 and in love for the first time in my life when I first heard "Snowblind" and to me it was a song about love and the feelings of trying to live without a first love. I just know that it was my favorite song by Styx and it still rocks. |
