Think about it in the way that the federales are talking about Lefty. "they only let him go so wrong...the dust that pancho bit down south ended up in lefty's mouth' Either Pancho wronged lefty and lefty killed him, or Pancho was lefty's friend or brother and Leftuy avenged his death. Either way the federales looked the other way and let lefty do 'what he had to do'. Ive neer heard this interpretation but it fits. |
